History

Out of Africa Missions is a non-profit organization that was founded in 2004 by Executive Director Pierre Bartels, who envisioned strengthening the kingdom by offering the opportunity for missions teams to come and serve in South Africa.

Based in George, South Africa, OAM operates a variety of projects aimed at uniting individuals, ministries, organizations and churches in demonstrating God’s love and mentoring people to make a difference in their communities.

UK and US teams have had the opportunity to serve in local outreach opportunities such as; Kidstop, Life Community Services, Badisa, Christian Medical Service Relieve, Waboomskrall Rural Minisitry, Nunation, and local townships.

Since this dream, OAM has expanded and has grown to develop three more ministries that function under the OAM umbrella which include; Living Hope Homes, Life Academy, and Sports Academy.
